Art of the Interview with The Community Edition – FREE

In this collaboration with Femme Folks Fest, Harleen Dhillon, Editor-in-Chief of The Community Edition (TCE), will explore the art of journalistic interviews. Participants will receive an overview of TCE’s philosophy behind interviews, research to do before conducting an interview, creating questions, and recording and choosing quotes.

The Community Edition is a local monthly newspaper covering Waterloo Region’s community members, their stories, and their thoughts.

Harleen Dhillon (she/her) is editor-in-chief of the Community Edition. They graduated from the University of Waterloo with a BSc Honours Health Studies and a minor in Gerontology in 2020, arriving at their current role through working with UW Imprint. They are an avid reader and, as of this year, a gym-bro. Ask them about their favourite book or my leg-press PR and they may not stop talking.
