The Pinch FamJamboree is a hilarious and interactive blend of improv comedy, kids songs, and live participation for audiences of all ages! Join improvisers Hayley KelletRob Lewin and Ben Gorodetsky as they create spontaneous comedy inspired by Grace Carruthers’s live music. Kids and families can sing, dance and joke along with the FamJamboree as their ideas help shape the show. Unscripted stories, toe tapping rhythms, and the fantastic alchemy of creative young minds at play! For all ages. 

Hayley Kellett (they/she) is a Guelph based artist specializing in both theatrical and applied improvisation. They are a co-founder of The Making-Box, 1/4 of the queer/femme comedy power house The Phlegmies, Second City Tour Co alumni, Hillside Festival emcee coordinator and a frequent flyer at Pinch events. As an independent facilitator, Hayley has led programming from Alaska to India to the Caribbean, and is looking forward to upcoming content in Barcelona and Edinburgh. Career highlights include consensually smooching Colin Mochrie.

Rob Lewin is an improviser and sketch comedian living in Guelph. He is an alumnus of the Bad Dog Featured Players, Second City FamCo, and was a founding member of the Making-Box Brigade. He co-created the monthly hit comedy show Scared Scriptless, which is now in its second year. In his spare time, he is a nurse.

Ben Gorodetsky (he/they) is a Ukrainian-Canadian writer, performer and producer based in Kitchener. Their artistic work has been presented by The Art Gallery of Ontario, CAFKA, Movement Research at Judson Church, The Tank NYC, LUMEN, In/On/Out Interarts, Femme Folks Fest and Open Ears. Ben is the curator-host of the Pinch Cabaret, and has performed and directed improvisation internationally. He was the 2022 artist-in-residence with Guelph Dance Fest, winner of the Emerging Artist Award at the Mayor’s Celebration for the Arts (Edmonton), recipient of the Anna Pidruchney Young Writers Award, and a nominee for a Canadian Comedy Award and a Waterloo Region Arts Award. They’re the creator and executive producer of “MY PET ATE WHAT!?” a docuseries for CTV Wild. Ben holds an MFA from Brooklyn College-CUNY, a BFA from the University of Alberta, and teaches video and performance at UWaterloo.

Grace Carruthers (she/her) has been a ghost hunter, archaeologist, pirate, poet, comedian, and musician, among other titles. She performs around Kitchener-Waterloo on stages like Pinch Cabaret and Lavender Fizz. She can currently be found at the library singing Skinnamarink to oblivious toddlers.
