A skeptic begins having psychic experiences and is forced to confront a terrifying possibility: she might be losing her mind. After accidentally meditating on vacation, Gada Jane finds herself talking to statues, consulting the DSM-5, and doing psychic readings. Becoming Psychic is a darkly funny solo show about doubt, belief, and the cultural line between insight and insanity.

Gada Jane is a writer, performer, and psychic-intuitive based in Kitchener, Ontario. Originally a lifelong skeptic, Jane’s work and life shifted after a series of unexpected intuitive experiences that produced verifiable information. This led to a dramatic reckoning that led to her becoming a professional psychic. She writes funny, touching work that sits at the intersection of contemporary performance, psychological inquiry, and lived mystical experience. She writes on Substack and creates independently through The Predella Studio.
